The Remington 700 5-R Gen 2 bolt-action rifle sets a new benchmark for accuracy and durability. This rifle is chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum and has a 24” stainless steel barrel with 5R rifling and 1:10” rate-of-twist. The 5R rifling increases barrel life expectancy, accuracy, and creates less fouling and bullet deformation over time. The Gen 2 barrel is fluted to dissipate heat and has a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for accepting suppressors or other muzzle devices. The internal magazine has a 3 round capacity and the H-S Precision stock has full length aluminum bedding. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and houses the X-Mark Pro Trigger. The action and barrel have a black cerakote finish.
