The Taurus 1911 Commander is a 45 ACP handgun with 8+1 capacity and 4.2” barrel. The Commander has a shorter profile than traditional full-size 1911 but maintains a full-size grip. Features Novak drift adjustable front and rear sights, and extended beavertail for comfortable shooting with control. This model includes Magpul heavy-duty reinforced polymer, MOE 1911 Grip Panels with a unique diamond-shaped cross section that prevents hand twisting, aggressive magazine release cut-out, positive anti-slip texture, and are compatible with ambidextrous safeties. Includes front and rear Novak drift adjustable sights and a manual safety.
