By many accounts the APC9-SD is the legitimate suppressor to the H&K's legendary MP5-SD.

The B&T APC9 SD integrally suppressed 9mm semi-automatic pistol is the commercial varient of the highly acclaimed APC SD submachinegun. 

Used by various special forces in both Europe and the USA, the APC9 has not only proven itself, but has also developed an excellent reputation as a reliable, precise, and low profile weapon. It is not surprising that the desire for a version with an integrated suppressor was expressed in the area of the specail units.

Supressors integrated into the weapon (integrally suppressed) maintain a shorter overall profile than suppressors placed on the muzzle while simultaneously providing better sound suppression and recoil reduction.

Thanks to a special barrel, normal supersonic ammunition can also be used, which is "braked" by the barrel at subsonic speeds. B&T was happy to meet this request with the APC9-SD.
