By adding the complexity of a second weapon system, students are challenged to refine their shooting process and manage additional stress while maintaining situational awareness. By the end of this course, students will have a greater understanding of practical marksmanship and a developing foundation to shoot and move safely and effectively. Requirements for the class:
- A carbine with a sling and at least 2 magazines/300 rounds of ammunition
- A pistol with holster and at least 2 magazines/200 rounds of ammunition
- Hearing and eye protection
- Weather specific clothing to include long pants with a belt. Long sleeves are highly recommended as well
- Water and snacks
- Sunscreen/ hat
- Gloves (for brass clean up)
- Everything that came in your firearm box: tools, brackets, mounts, or any other accessories. We will discuss what they are and why you need or do not need them
