Fly Fishing with Experienced Guides
Cast on the beautiful Blanco, San Marcos, and Guadalupe rivers to enjoy a day on some of Texas’ natural gems.
Guadalupe River
The Guadalupe River has the distinction of being listed in the top 100 trout fisheries in the US and also being the southernmost trout fishery in the country. Guadalupe Trout Unlimited and Texas Parks and Wildlife have done an amazing job shaping the trout program. This fishery also has amazing warm-water fishing – making it a year-round destination.
Season/Target Species
Winter: Rainbows and brown trout are the targets on a fishery holding distinctions as being both the southernmost and listed in the top 100 US trout streams.
Late Spring through Fall: The Guadalupe offers excellent warm-water fishing providing shots at Largemouth, Smallmouth, Striped, and our native Guadalupe bass.

San Marcos River
The San Marcos River is formed by over 200 springs releasing 350 million gallons of water from the Balcones Escarpment daily. This beautiful river holds large stocks of Guadalupe bass and Largemouth bass, Bluegill, Red Ear Sunfish, and Rio Grande Perch.

Blanco River
The Blanco River runs for 87 miles from the source springs in Kendall County to its confluence with the San Marcos River. This river is one of the most difficult fisheries to gain access to, considering that almost all of its banks are privately held. Our guides will navigate you through the tedium of access and get you on the water.
Target Species: Guadalupe, Smallmouth, Largemouth, and Striped Bass, Rio Grande Cichlids, Sunfish, and Carp
Season:Please note that the Blanco is only available when conditions permit. This is a very special trip with very limited windows to get on it. Therefore, we do not take a deposit and we will contact you once a date is selected to discuss the conditions of this trip.

Guided Hunts for Upland Birds
Upland hunting is one of the true shining stars at Spoke Hollow Outfitters. We take our guests into the field at our 1,000-acre ranch in Wimberley, Texas, to flush quail, chuckar, and pheasant, over pointing and flushing dogs. All hunts are followed by a gourmet meal in a field setting.
Season: Mid-October through April

Fin & Field
Looking for an ultimate Hill Country experience, check out our Fin & Field Excursion. The first half of the day we take our guests for a half-day upland hunt for quail, pheasant, or chukar over hard-working gundogs. In the second half of the excursion, we take the guest out on a Hill Country river in on one of our paddle rafts to cast at seasonally appropriate game fish species. Trips include guides, dogs, liberated birds, tackle, lunch, and non-alcoholic beverages. Shotguns and ammunition can be arranged upon request. Can accommodate up to 12 people, call for group pricing.
