Remington’s Model 700 Varmint SF (stainless fluted) features a 26” heavy-contour barrel that is fluted for weight reduction, while maintaining rigidity and rapid cooling. The concave dish crown protects the rifling and promotes bullet flight. The black synthetic stock has overmolded grip panels for a sure grip and a vented beavertail fore-end for barrel cooling. The stock includes a SuperCell recoil pad to dramatically reduce recoil and dual front swivel studs for a sling and bipod. This rifle is chambered in .223 Rem and has a hinged floorplate magazine with 4+1 capacity. Features the X-Mark Pro Adjustable trigger. The receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting a scope.
