Description

The SureFire SOCOM762-MG2 is the heavy-duty type in the robust range of SOCOM suppressors, made specifically for use with 7.62 mm machine guns. SureFire  took he cutting-edge suppressor technology created for their SOCOM762-RC2, and boosted it up with thicker Inconel and stainless steel construction, as well as more durable baffling, to survive continuous automatic fire without fail. The internal venting reduces back pressure, hence lessening gas blowback on the operator and reduced cycle rate. Patented advancements in gas-flow dynamics reduce noise, drastically cut down on dust signature, and almost completely eliminate first-round flash. Regardless of the quantity of attach-detach cycles, the MG2 causes minimal, constant shift in point of impact compared to the unsuppressed weapon like all SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach® variants.
